Cranio therapy will helpt improving the self-healing capacity of the body. The therapist feels freedom and blockages in theconnective tissue (fascia). In this tissue, blockages can arise due to emotional or physical events that are stored in the body. Over time, this can cause complaints or the well-known 'weak spot'. In this case the body is blocked in it's self healing and recovery capacity.

Effects of cranio therapy:

  • Stimulates the self-regulating / self-healing capacity of the body

  • Activates the relaxation/restoration nervous system, also called parasympathetic or 'rest and digest' nervous system

  • Regulating and releasing emotional (stress) tensions that cause physical complaints

  • Deep insight into the complaint and cause

  • Setting in motion and releasing emotional and physical blockages (Somatic experience)

  • Best treatment for stress-related complaints, tension complaints and overstimulation complaints

Cranio therapie

For the proper functioning of a human and recovery, all tissues and systems in the body need a certain freedom of movement.

This mobility is not only necessary for the locomotion of humans, but also for the movement of all cells, tissues, muscles and bones in relation to each other. This also applies to the internal organs (peristalsis, respiration, organ movements under the influence of respiration) and to the body fluids (blood, lymph, cerebrospinal fluid).

With osteopathic techniques, the therapist 'reads/feels' the body and the movement possibilities of all these tissues and systems in the body, looking for the relationships with the complaint(s).  Because all systems in the body need freedom to function, limitations of movement say a lot about the functioning of the person.

  • Complaints related to organs:  gut, stomach, bladder, pelvic floor.

  • Complaints around the skull and face: jaw tension, headache, migraine, whiplash.

The mobility can be restored by these (soft) are a manual (with the hands) examination and treatment method. Who examines and treats the body in its entirety, holistically.  The techniques influence the total functioning and the 'feeling in your body' and being able to feel relaxation.

Body and mind are one. So feeling good in your body is mentally better, more energetic and more balanced.
